Jessica Hartmann is a full time Physical Therapist and Kunga Yoga Teaching Specialist on faculty with the Kunga Yoga School. She is a graduate of Duquesne University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, and has over ten years of experience as a manual therapist in a variety of clinics.

Mary Barwick, RYT, PT
Teaching Specialist Mary’s formal yoga training began at Kripalu Yoga Ashram where she briefly lived and studied Bodywork (1989). Next she obtained her license in Massage Therapy from the Florida School of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Gainesville Florida (1991).
Dr Ronnie Wienstein
Trained by power Vinyasa guru, Tamal Dodge, Ronnie brings the flow (Vinyasa) to Ageless Yoga with basic and power level classes. Additionally, when he is not teaching beach yoga during the summer months, he teaches his very popular Hatha yoga class on Sunday mornings to the sounds of Billie Holiday.
Masanko Banda
Masankho is sits in as one of the Kunga Drummers and is an accomplished African dancer, drummer and choreographer. He brings his knowledge of dance and drumming from his upbringing in Malawi and from all the teachers he has learned from here in the United States. MAsanko is an International PeaceBuilder, Educator, InterPlay Leader and Healer/Masseur who resides in Oakland, California. In 2001 Masankho was awarded the Unsung Hero of Compassion award by his Holiness The Dalai Lama.

Troy Pierce
Drummer/percussionist Troy Pierce was classically trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He later studied jazz at the Manhattan School of Music, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Empire State College.
Adam Stetten
Adam Stetten is part of the Kunga Drummers who accompany the Rhythmic Flow Yoga workshops. He is originally from Wilmington and currently resides in Raleigh, NC. His percussion experience comes from school band and jazz band, punk rock and funk. He devotes his working hours working on energy efficiency and practicing real estate. Adam took his first yoga class from Kristin in 2001.
Dan Martier
Dan Martier is a drummer, vocalist and composer based out of costal Carolina who accompanies the Kunga Drummers and is sought after for his adept handling of a wide range of musical styles. Currently touring as the drummer for TR3 featuring Tim Reynolds, Martier defies categorizing as he drives the groove in TR3 while covering Jazz to Industrial and Funk to Rock.
Rebecca Powell-Doherty
Rebecca Powell-Doherty has been studying science and doing research since 2001. She graduated with her B.S. in Biology from NC State University in 2005 and went on for her PhD in Immunology at UNC Charlotte, graduating in 2010. She has over a decade of experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology at the collegiate level, along with other science courses. Somewhere along the way, she fell in love with this yoga stuff, completing her 200-hr teaching training under the direction of Kristin Cooper-Gulak and seeks always to carry the Kunga service approach forward in her teaching and her life. She works daily to balance her yoga world with her scientific one, and has previously conducted translational research on antioxidant therapies for trauma, hemorrhage and inflammation at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Most recently, Rebecca completed her Master of Public Health, along with certifications in Global Planning & International Development and Nonprofit & NGO Management at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. She is currently enrolled in the clinical herbalism path with The Herbal Academy of New England and runs her own small business, Diventare Yoga & Apothecary out of her home. She and her husband have recently relocated to the UK in search of new adventures.

Hilary Garivaltis, AHC, RYT
Founder and Director of Ayurvedic Health Education Services. Hilary has trained and taught the introductory levels of Ayurvedic medicine since 2000. As the Founder and former Dean of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, Hilary had the opportunity to work along side many of the leading teachers of Ayurveda throughout the country and in India. She has been responsible for educating hundreds of people from all walks of life. Through her unique experience she has honed the skills of curriculum refinement to meet the needs of the new student as well as the advanced student. In the spirit of collaboration and upliftment of the Ayurvedic community, Hilary has always been known for building great partnerships both in America and India. The faculty chosen to teach the Fundamentals of Ayurveda: Tools for Healthy Living™ are among the best that Hilary has had the opportunity to work with over the course of the past ten years. Additional adjunct faculty will continue to be included as the curriculum naturally grows.
